Several months ago, despite my telling him NOT to get me anything else for my birthday, Snackpants decided that I needed a Kindle. And I have to admit… I absolutely adore it!

I know that certain friends of mine, also with degrees in English, find it ‘unnatural’ to read anything that’s not a physical book with pages one can turn, and I was somewhat apprehensive, but I gotta say that I really enjoy reading the e-ink and LOVE the instant download feature. It’s also freakin’ amazing that I can download the first 2 chapters of any book for free before I buy it. Free samples FTW!

Anyway. Upon receiving my Kindle, I determined that I wanted to get a cover for it, but not one of those Amazon ones that lacked personality, so I headed over to one of my all-time favorite websites, Etsy.com. There I found what I thought I was looking for and purchased my Kindle cover.

Once it got here, I was unfortunately disappointed. It didn’t hold my Kindle right, the spine was too large, and while it was cool, it was not what I wanted it to be. So I quit using it in my sadness.

Several months and several trips later, I realized that I needed to have some sort of protective sleeve. So that’s exactly what I found! I headed back over to Etsy and got PRECISELY what I wanted!

The fine ladies over at Rogue Theory (who also sell through Etsy) have a product they call a Tech-ee. The design is amazingly simple, the construction is solid and precise, and it’s a PERFECT fit for my Kindle! Not to mention I adore the design on the fabric! They make these sleeves for a variety of products, including the Nook and the iPad, and their prices are extremely reasonable for such quality work.

Thanks for not disappointing, ladies!
